Chassis mirrors by MaDe Design
Belgian design studio MaDe has created the Chassis mirrors for DEKNUDT. Unlike the usual flat mirrors, Chassis have more volume and provides room to place personal objects.
MaDe Design gave depth to an object that’s generally considered to be flat. The volume of the mirror is defined by a thin metal framework. Behind the surface of the mirror, a space is created to fix an oak shelf on which personal objects can be stored.
The volume is defined by a thin metal framework.” says MaDe Design. “In that way the Chassis claims a more important space in its environment compared to a regular mirror, but at the same time it oozes elegance and lightness.
The mirror is available in two versions: the Chassis and Chassis XL. The first one can be hung to the wall and the second one, the XL-variation, that can stand free in the room, and can be used as a room divider.
