Fou de Feu | Rhythm
Belgian studio Fou de Feu launched their new collection of stripped down ceramic pieces called Rhythm.
Fou de Feu founder Veerle Van Overloop designed plates, cups, spoons, table mats and cutting boards according to two defining words rhythm and balance. The collection is made out of pure white porcelain fused with leather, wood & marble. The designer finds is inspired by architecture, photography, design & food culture as she says in ger bio. Her work is a blend of materials in a simple and pure way using everyday shapes and forms to get a different dimension and function.
The materials seemed like a perfect match; each has its own specific cleanliness – the feel of something handmade, the warmth of leather and the coolness of marble, the contrast between warm and cool, is an uncommon combination
