Pinch Design New Furniture Collection
Design brand Pinch has launched their new collection during the Clerkenwell Design Week. In addition to their existing range of furniture, they presented a new dining chair, armchair, side tables and shelving.
Pinch is the collaboration between husband and wife team Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon based in London. Their motto is to make simple, timeless furniture that easily finds its place in the home with exceptional attention to the details.
As ever, this collection has an emphasis on strong shapes, careful sensitivity to how the pieces will be used, and a dedication to expert making and quality materiality, said Pinch co-founder Oona Bannon.
We don’t seek to create a hard, dominating look; we are not driven by ego. Rather we hope that all our clients will use our pieces to create environments that invite and embrace, and contribute to a sense of harmony, interest and resonance.
At last month’s Clerkenwell Design Week, the brand debuted a series of new designs, including a side table, two new chairs, a shelving unit and a sideboard: Float table, Avery chair, Lombard Shelving and the Joyce sideboard.
Float table: A series of side tables of varying shades and combinations inspired by fishermen’s floats. Hand turned and individually stained in a selection of colours.
Avery chair: A chair of rigorous simplicity, our solid pippy English oak Avery chair is as clean and poised as a linear sketch, and is available in an armchair and dining chair option.
Lombard Shelving: Constructed from white oiled oak shelves and light ash rails, this shelving makes a virtue of its supports and plays with shadow.
A new addition to the Joyce line, the sideboard is available in Pinch standard colours or can be matched to a paint reference and is lined with walnut, cherry or oak. The Pinch house favourite is cherry.
