Screen Mirror by Normal Studio for la Tôlerie Forézienne
Normal Studio took part in the Saint-Etienne International Design Biennial 2013. Their participation was a screen mirror; a polished stainless steel surface made with the collaboration of La Tôlerie Forézienne.
The object was part of the exhibition “L’âge du faire” curated by Particule 14. A group of designers created over a year ago as an association to promote design as a friendly and humane science.
“From a polished stainless steel perforated sheet, we created a mirror to reflect the size of the city. By breaking the reflection it creates the illusion to play with reality. A progressive perforated frame suggests what lies on the other-side. “
