Sydney in Tilt & Shift
Tiny Sydney is a short film by photographer Filippo Rivetti. The time-lapse presents a striking tilt-shift landscapes of the Australian city.
The shoot, commissioned by travel site Expedia, was filmed from a number of Sydney landmarks, including Bondi Beach, the Sydney Tower Eye and Pylon Lookout. The tilt-shift effect was applied in post-production, and the film was captured with a Canon 5DMIII, a Canon 7D, a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8, a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8, a Canon 24mm f/1.4 and a Zeiss 50mm 1.4. Post-production involved using both LRTimelapse and Adobe After Effects. The music is Olive Musique – Only Human.
Filippo Rivetti is a 33-year-old engineer, born in Milano, Italy. He moved to Australia seven years ago and was captivated by its breathtaking landscapes and fell in love with photography. Over the last six years, he’s been travelling and photography have become an intimate and integral part of his life: exploring and experiencing new places and cultures, discovering and learning different ways of life and traditions, and capturing all of this with his camera in order to share its beauty with the world.
