In his new collaboration with Parachilna, Jaime Hayón designed a ceramic urn-shaped lamp topped by a frosted glass shade. The ceramic body is made by craftsman Italo Bosa who finishes each unit by hand before glazing and firing multiple times.
Kyoto based designer, Ryosuke Fukusada, in collaboration with Portuguese designer Rui Pereira created a bathroom furniture collection called Tile Sashi, meaning slice in Japanese. The pieces are inspired by the act of slicing a raw material in order to build something new.
Jaime Hayon has created a series of luminaires for the new Catalan label Parachilna called Aballs. The collection includes pendant and table lamps along with a candelabra. Their design is a perfect combination of illuminated sphere and rounded cylinder.
