Jaime Hayón has redesigned a room inside the iconic SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The hotel was originally created by Modernist architect Arne Jacobsen, using furniture pieces from Republic of Fritz Hansen.
In his new collaboration with Parachilna, Jaime Hayón designed a ceramic urn-shaped lamp topped by a frosted glass shade. The ceramic body is made by craftsman Italo Bosa who finishes each unit by hand before glazing and firing multiple times.
Jaime Hayon has created a series of luminaires for the new Catalan label Parachilna called Aballs. The collection includes pendant and table lamps along with a candelabra. Their design is a perfect combination of illuminated sphere and rounded cylinder.

Republic of Fritz Hansen just edited a new sculptural armchair designed by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon that provides both comfort and privacy. The seat is 1.5 times as wide as a standard chair, giving extra room to stretch and move, or sit with a tablet/book/kid/laptop.
